Our dream is a church, a community or a local association where everyone can feel at home and have a sense of belonging.
Our dream is true Christian fellowship, regardless of where we originally come from, have our roots or what our mother tongue is.
Our dream is for us to express our faith and live, eat and celebrate together.
The bible says: “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Gal 3:28)
We already belong together! There are many more verses like this one in the bible. Jesus has given us unity, no matter which country we call home, which language we are most familiar with and what we like to eat. We are one! How can it be that we are not living in unity? We go to school together, do sports together, see each other on the train, but not in church on Sundays or in our communities or YMCA. Global local wants to change this!
We as a global local team are experiencing huge blessings through intercultural encounters and fellowship! We are experiencing God in new ways, are learning new things about him, are experiencing new things, meeting new people, gaining new insights into biblical stories and growing spiritually. We are being challenged and blessed. Through intercultural fellowship, we are experiencing heaven on earth. We want YOU to experience all of this as well!
